In 2025 we (co-)organized three Pastas courses across Europe and online.
Delft, The Netherlands – Pastas Days 5-7 of February 2025
To what is becoming an annual event, together with Artesia and TU Delft we organized a Pastas course and the 2nd Pastas Day at the Delft University of Technology. On day one more than 20 participants learned the basics of Pastas, and how to build a model using Python scripts. The second day started with an advanced course, discussing model structures, calibration and evaluation. In the afternoon, a large group of Pastas users (>50 participants) to hear about the latest developments, as well as use-cases. The third day the Pastas development team organized a development sprint, inviting users to contribute code.
Australian Water School, Online
Together with Artesia we organized an online Pastas course for the Australian Water School. The course was spread over 4 weeks, with a two-hour session every week. Stuttgart, Germany, 29-30 September 2025
For the German hydrogeological society FH-DGGV we organized a two-day Pastas course on location in Stuttgart. Overt the course of two days, 14 participants learned how to use Pastas to solve groundwater problems, and got familiar with the Python syntax to create Pastas models.
